Medicine is the science of diagnosing, treating and preventing illness and injuries. They also study ways to prevent disease and promote wellness. There are many professions in the field of medicine: doctor, nurse, dentist, dental hygienist, physical therapist, x-ray technician, lab technician, psychiatrist, optometrist, and medical records clerk.
